So here is the low down. This topic will be here to show you about Hit/Dam/Saves Roll in the battling feature if you all wish to join. You all start at 100 health, 5 mana, and 0 experience. Each battle you have against an opponent your level will be worth 20 experience, dropping down at intervals of 5 for each level they are under you. The same goes for up for the levels they are over you. That is so you may not be able to fight anyone 4 levels above you, or 4 levels under you, to keep it a tad bit more fair. Though you may be able to request battles with opponents, and they can accept your challenge, there are a bit of rules involved:

1. You can not level up more then once per day, at least until I can get an automated system up to throw in experience for me. Until then, it will all be by hand.

2. You aren't "immune" to shit on here. You have weakness' and resistances' which will either multiply the damage roll to 1.5x or drop the damage roll down to .5x

3. You can have up to two resistances (There must be a valid reasoning behind it please), and must have at least ONE weakness (valid reasoning preferred.)

4. Notify me when the battle is, who it is between, and what kind of battle. If it is a deathmatch, no experience will be awarded, so only sparring will be accepted as proper experience gains.

5. NO death matches with out my prior consent and I MUST be presiding over to watch, until I appoint other Admin's and Moderator's.

ALL matches will conform to this system of battle set forth upon this site:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/11548456/T1-Rules-and-Guidelines-for-the-Modern-Day-Role-Player

That way we all know the rules. Hope ya have fun!

Here I will be showing how the process for the Hit/Dam/Saves Roll works. The opening post will be submitted, each character will do their intro. To save on space, the first person to post his intro will be the first to receive the attack, or in other words, they will be on the defensive. The second person to post their intro, will also include their first attack with their intro, like so:

Quote :
Stalking the slightly larger person, OPPONENT, electric blue eyes peer out from behind the weeping willows, their long, tendrils reaching down and helping obscure the male even more in a shadow. With grace and fluidity belying any human male of his smaller size, he keeps a close eye upon OPPONENT as he snakes his ways through the tendrils of the willows. His mind saw the willow trees, and a few flashbacks of his childhood came to the surface. The irony of it all was he used to be whipped relentlessly by willow branches had he failed as a very youngh child. It brought forth hate, his electic eyes flashing a deeper maroon as the pointed chin of his still youthful face tilted downward. His eyes darkened, and he knew he would not fail.

His hair was a golden, dishwater blonde, set upon his head in a moppish fashion as if he didn't care about his own look. His face was thin and gaunt, decorated with a few patches of light scruff, and it was apparent from the slight points on his ears, he was no mere human. His frame was thin, seeming frail against the huge size of his opponent, but his muscular structure was taut and sinewy, bulging out from his thin frame. A black leather vest fits tight against his torso, the V of the neck so deep, it reaches just above his navel. A large, smooth maroon gem inlaid on a flat gold backing help the V closed up at his pectorals, and black wolf fur trimmed the neck of the vest.

A platinum bracer adorns his left forearm, a chain manacled to it. The chain was nine feet long and thick, shining irridescently with an inner darkness that pulsated from the cool, black steel. A ring about six inches in diameter with five one foot long free-flowing chains, also made of the same metal, ran along. At the end of each shorter chain was a kunai three times the size of normal makes, with a letter carved into each handle that made out to spell "HYDRA". The chain wraps up the male's forearm, hooks upon the elbow of the bracer, then hangs down to allow enough movement with no hinderance before clasping behind him, on his waistbelt by a simple leather clasp.

Along the lower curves of his back, sheathed in a peculiar manner, inside the vest itself, were two Elven Hunting Knives. The right knife had a red marble handle, gold lettering carved into the handle spelling "Rage". His left knife handle was made of white marble with gold lettering carved into it spelling "Grace". Twin belts hang off his hips, running in perpendicular fashion, adorned with polished throwing daggers of all sorts. Black trousers tuck into plated boots and lower leg guards, another dagger tucked away on the outside of the right boot, the polished silver pommel gleaming in the light.

Knives were hidden in the bottom of the toes of his boots, another blade hidden in the platinum bracer, perfect for assassinations. The male wished for a battle though, the shadows stretching out as they reached for Sivian, seeming to whisper as three daggers were produced from somewhere hidden upon his body, and they were launched at the back of OPPONENT, spinning and whistling though the air as they aimmed at the OPPONENT'S back.

Right? You will then scroll down just a bit on the main page and go to "Dice Roll #1" and select "Hit Roll". That will give you a value between one and ten, the higher the better, of your chance to hit your opponent. After that, you click the "+" symbol at the other side of the 1 dice you throw, which will add another Dice Roll.

For that dice roll, you will select "Damage Roll" and you will throw the dice equal to your level. So if you are a level one, throw one dice, a level two would throw two dice, etc. That there will give you the amount of damage you can score, each dice a range from 1 to 20.

Now here is where my opponent would roll a saves roll, and that would be if he dodged or not, so pretend that my saves roll is really my opponents

Now, seeing that I have rolled a hitroll of only 1, then that is a pretty shitty roll. Now my opponent will post a simple "Saves Roll" in dice roll #1, then he would post his reply afterwards, depending upon what he got for saves roll. He would block it if he got higher then a 1 for my hit roll, or he would have to take the hit in some way. Make sure you also keep in mind the damage roll when replying to a post that hit you. The lower the dam roll, the more superficial the wound. So if you got a max of 20 dam roll that hit you, that is a pretty severe wound, possibly even crippling a limb. but if it is a 1 or 2 for dam roll, you could state that you somewhat dodged, but got a bit of a scratch. I still try to leave it in your hands, while bringing a little randomness to the game play.

In an event like this, a tie for both hit and saves, the hit roll would win, but it would only do half damage roll. If the person had a resistance to such an attack, it would half the damage again, rounded up, or a weakness it would do 1.5x times rounded up.
